Background: to present a diagnosis and treatment of a rare subcutaneous meningioma.
Methods: case presentation and literature review.
Case presentation. A woman, aged 25 years old presented to our department complaining of a painless lump in the craniocervical region. The lump was from the birthtime. Conclusion. In rare cases meningiomas can be localized subcutaneously. Possibly in this patient it developed from long time standing meningocele.stoperative morphological examination was meningotelial meningioma, WHO I grade.
